ZeniMax sued Oculus for the $500 million. ZeniMax has claimed that the virtual reality experts John Carmack and Palmer Luckey has flashed and misused the trade secrets. Carmack has previously worked with ZeniMax and just shifted to Facebook’s Oculus. This was because Palmer Luckey was found some how guilty of violating a nondisclosure agreement he did with ZeniMax. Even though the issue and the topic is minor the law made it very expensive.
