Outer Ring Road Kathmandu Valley Construction To Start in 2074
All the works of Kathmandu valley to build the outer ring road has finally ended and will start the construction in the year 2074. The Kathmandu Valley Development Authority has completed the land pooling and development of land process for the outer ring road. It was a plan of 11 years and this is going to start in 2074 after 11 huge years. The administration process is almost complete regarding the pooling. The land development process in Satungal, Chobhar areas are almost complete in the first phase. The 35 days notice regarding the lodging complaints if they have any dissatisfaction regarding the land pooling process. And good news is that Kathmandu Valley Development Authority has just got few complaints which will be resolved soon.
The outer ring road Kathmandu will be of 73 kilometers as a whole. The first stage includes 6.1km stretching in the which will start from Chobhar area. The 73 kilometer outer ring road will be 50 meters wide. The estimation shows that there will be total use of 10% land of Kathmandu valley to build the Outer Ring Road Kathmandu.
In past many locals protested against government and was delayed for long time, but this time there is no such serious issue regarding the land pooling and local people also have committed to help the government to build the road as far as possible. One of the officials said that there are now just few misunderstandings to be settled down among the locals regarding the project.
Kathmandu Valley Development Authority needs 250 meters of road on the either side from mid-point of the road. So for that KVDA is taking land from owners and will hand the land to owners after planning them in the good way.
KVDA have allocated total of 50 million Nepalese rupees per year for the outer ring road Kathmandu.
The road is expected to connect the rural area of the Valley through a single road and the population is also expected to be decentralized.
