General Scholarship Scheme (GSS) Embassy Of India Nepal
The General Scholarship Scheme is commonly known as the GSS. It is provided by Embassy of India for the Nepali students for the under graduate courses like BBA, BCA, BA, BA (Hons), B.Sc., B.Com, BA for music and performing arts. The eligibility for the Genera Scholarship Scheme (GSS) the following criteria should be completed.
The students should have passed Class XII or equivalent examination which is equal to the subject in class XII. The student should have secured minimum of 60 percentage of marks in aggregate in Class XII and Class XI. There should be 60% marks in English subject as well.
The age criteria of the applicants should be between 17 to 22 years. For the BA in music and performances, the students should have the photographs, music, videos, cassettes or CD’s should be produced. Fore Fine Arts subject the photographs of arts or sculpture made should be provided.
The selection process of the General Scholarship Scheme is the candidates which are short listed will be called for the interview for the final selection. The academic qualification, performances and the interview will be considered for the final selection.
