Province Number 2 consists of the following districts which mainly consists of plane Terai regions. They are Bara , Dhanusha , Mahottari , Parsa , Rautahat , Saptari , Sarlahi and Siraha District. The population of the privince 2 is 5,404,145 and it has area of 9,661 km².
Province Number 3 has the following districts included in it. They are Bhaktapur , Chitwan , Dhading , Dolakha , Kathmandu , Kavrepalanchok , Lalitpur , Makwanpur , Nuwakot , Ramechhap , Rasuwa , Sindhuli and Sindhupalchok District. The total estimated Population of the privince 3 is 5,529,452 and the area of the rovince 4 is 20,300 km².
Province Number 4 comes in the central zone of Nepal in previous division. The province has Baglung which is only the eastern part in the province. Like wise Gorkha , Kaski , Lamjung , Manang, Mustang , Myagdi , Nawalparasi, Parbat , Syangja and Tanahun are the districts included in the province number 4. The population of the province is estimated to be 2,413,907 and the area of the province 4 is estimated to be 21,504 km².
Province Number 5 consists of all the districts which were in the Mid-western region in the previous division. The districts included in the province 5 are Arghakhanchi , Baglung District is the western regional districts that is involved here. Like wise Banke , Bardiya , Dang Deukhuri , Gulmi , Kapilvastu , Nawalparasi , Palpa , Pyuthan , Rolpa , Rukum and Rupandehi lie in this province number 5. Province Number 6 consists of districts from western to far western region of the previous division. The districts involved are Dailekh, Dolpa, Humla, Jajarkot , Jumla , Kalikot, Mugu , Rukum , Salyan and Surkhet. The population of the province is 1,168,515 which has total estimated area of 27,984 km².
Province Number 7 consists of the districts from far western region of the previous division. The districts involved in the province number 7 are, Achham , Baitadi , Bajhang , Bajura , Dadeldhura , Darchula, Doti , Kailali and Kanchanpur . The population of the district is 2,552,517 and the estimated area of the district is 19,539 km².
